Kickstarter Campaign has Raised over $35,000 to Make Potato Salad

The internet has done good things with it’s new found ability to raise money for good causes, like life changing operations.

Zach Danger Brown decided to raise money for something totally different, the making of potato salad.  This was to be his first attempt at potato salad making.

Brown’s original goal was ten dollars to get the ingredients.

Of course there are rewards for donating.  Give a buck and you get a thank you.  For 2 dollars you get a picture of the potato salad making.  For three bucks you get a taste. For five bucks you get all that, plus a chance to choose an appropriate ingredient. The  more you give, the more you get.

Well this Kickstarter Campaign has really taken off.  As of Tuesday morning Brown had raised over 35 thousand dollars!   He told BuzzFeed. “Now I get to make potato salad with the whole internet! Someone said they could help me set up a live stream, so I guess we’re doing that!”

And now somebody is making Potato Salad hats and T-shirts!  There might even be a Potato Salad Party!
