Texas Cat Named World’s Oldest

This calls for a celebration: a Siamese cat in Mansfield, Texas has been certified by Guinness World Records as the oldest living cat.  On March 26, Scooter the Siamese cat celebrated his 30th birthday!

Just to put that in perspective, that cat was born during the Reagan administration and is still alive!

Scooter still has a ways to go to catch up to another famous Texas cat. Créme Puff from Austin past her 38th birthday!

Congratulations to Gail Floyd, Scooter's owner for his entire 30 year lifespan from newborn kitten to wise old cat.
