His Reddit Name is Duncanconstruction and in Dec 2012 he weighed 300 pounds.  A year later he was 170.  How did he do it?  Diet and exercise. Darn it!

This is how he explained it to his Reddit Audience:

"95% of it was done through nothing but a 1350 calorie limit per day.  No foods were off limit, but I survived mostly on tuna salad, chicken with salsa, frozen vegetables, beans and rice, turkey/roast beef sandwiches, spinach, and eggs. After I lost 100 pounds I started walking to work (5 miles) for about 2 months until it got too cold outside."

While he was reshaping his body, Duncanconstruction never told his parents about it.  So it was a huge surprise for them to see their newly slim son.  His sister was in on it and she taped the reveal.

Well that's two success stories this year. I will find more for you. Inspiration for those of us trying to keep our weight loss resolution. Who knows, come April maybe I will be writing about myself, or about you!
