Happy Friday.  Time for your Gold Report.  Which of your favorite Albums and Singles went Gold on this day in music history. As a 

We start with the Beatles.  Their album "Help!" went Gold in 1965.

The Queen, Aretha Franklin's album "Lady Soul", which featured "Chain of Fools" went Gold on this day in 1968.

Also in 1968 the Single "People Got to be Free" by the Rascals was Golden.

"Not Fragile", with "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet", from BTO went Gold in 1974.

Two years later Wild Cherry went Gold with "Play That Funky Music".  It made 1976 a funky 200.

We all went push-up crazy to the hit that went Gold in 1982.  Hopefully we all Survived the experience.

In 1982 we all sang the "magic" word with The Steve Miller Band enough times to make it Gold.  You Know the one.
