Temple’s Free Hot Summer Sounds Concert Series Starts May 30

Temple Parks and Leisure "Hot Summer Sounds" free concert series begins Friday night, May 30, with the 80’s cover band Detroit Steel. 

Austin’s premier party band,  Detroit Steel will be covering hits from artists like Bon Jovi, Journey, Prince, Queen, Van Halen and Michael Jackson too.

It's a free concert in Miller Park (1919 North 1st Street) from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

You should totally grab those decades old clothes out of the attic because there will be an 80’s costume contest for cash prizes!  Look for your parachute pants, and those shoulder pads!

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and coolers, and pick out our favorite spot. You can always get up and dance if the mood hits ya.
