The True Tale of Lasting Friendship Between a Burro and a Goat

People let me tell you bout my best friend.  For Eddie it was his daddy. The Courtship of Eddie's Father? I know you remember that.

Best friends come in all shapes and sizes and species,  like Jellybean the burro and Mr. G. the goat.

The two lived together in California, property of an animal hoarder, the hoarder got busted and Jellybean, and Mr. G. were rescued.

But the goat ended up at an animal sanctuary in Grass Valley, California, while the burro went to a different sanctuary seven hours away.

Mr. G was not happy, in fact he was downright depressed.   He just lay in his pen and refused to eat.  Watch what happens after somebody figured out what was wrong.

Now the people at Animal Place sanctuary say Mr. G and Jellybean can be together forever, both will become permanent residents, so kids can see that animals can be best friends too.
