Songs That Turn 30 This Year Will Make You Feel Old

Hey Gang,

I got into the radio business in 1988. When it came time to play songs from the 50's I always had to laugh a little, because they were so old. Songs like "Yakety Yak" from the Coasters, or "Splish Splash" from Bobby Darin (Google them) were 30 years old when I started playing them. Well take a look at a few songs that are turning 30 this year.

Kenny Loggins  "Footloose"

ZZ Top  "Legs"

Cyndi Lauper has two "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" & "Time After Time"

Nena  "99 Luftballons"

Yes  "Owner of a Lonely Heart"

And the one that seems fitting to this situation...Hall & Oats, "Say It Isn't So"
