Bill Gates Easily Tops Julia’s Vacation

I am back from a week off.  I didn’t do much, took my great-nieces and nephews to the local water park, Summer Fun USA.  We also went to San Antonio for a couple of days.  We did Six Flags, Fiesta Texas one day, the Riverwalk and Alamo the next. Well turns out the world’s richest man went on vacation too.  Bill Gates spent a lot more money on his family than I did.

Mr. Gates decided to rent a yacht for 5 million dollars a week!

“The Serene,” worth $330 million dollar is owned by Stolichnaya vodka distributor Yuri Scheffler.  According to Business Insider, Serene is the third most expensive yacht in the world.

It's a 450-foot, seven deck beauty, complete with 12 staterooms, its own saltwater pool, climbing wall, library, health spa, outdoor theater a night club, a helicopter and a submarine!  You can see the inside here.

I ain't mad at ya, Mr. Gates.  But I sure hope you are getting three meals a day for your 5 million dollars a week!
