Scandal – Goodbye To You – Patty Smyth

Big Q here.  Back when MTV played music videos one artist that caught my eye, because of puberty, was Patty Smyth of Scandal.  I'd never heard the term "Lost in Your Eyes" before, because we were still a few years away from hearing Debbie Gibson, but I experienced it with Patty.  Here's a few facts you might not have know about Patty Smyth.

-  She's a Brooklyn girl.  If you've ever seen an interview with her, you can tell she's got some NY attitude.

-  When Scandal broke up she was the first choice to replace David Lee Roth in Van Halen.  She declined and they had to choose Sammy Hagar instead.

-  In 1997 she married another New Yorker with attitude; Tennis legend John McEnroe.
