Hey Der, Here's a flash from the past.  Do you all remember the Romantics?  How about this song?  It was one in a million.

Hey Gang, Big Q here with a Big Q Hit.  There's nothing special about this.  It's kind of a slow day and for some reason I had a high school flashback.  I was thinking of what things I would've been embarrassed by if I followed the trends in high school.

Hey Gang, Time to jump into the Way-back machine and head to 1987.  It was the year that an artist debuted that would effect the world of music for the next four decades.

Hey Gang, One song you don't hear much of anymore is from Til Tuesday. Aimee Mann's voice carried "Voices Carry" into the top 10 on the Billboard chart in 1985.  And it was on this day that it went Gold that same year.  Aimee had a "fun" hair style for the time, but the song itself could've been much more controversial.

Hey Gang, It was on this day in 1991 that the band R.E.M. had a big day.  "Losing My Religion" won Six MTV Video Music Awards.  But it was far from their best work.

Hey Der, Well, its a holiday weekend, and that always meant a big meal growing up.  I always like Meatloaf.  Combine it with Scalped Corn and a picture of Kool-aid, and it was good day.  I can't give you the corn, but I can deliver the picture of Kool-aid and multiple helpings of Meatloaf. Well, Two Outta Three Ain't Bad.

Don McLean is famous for "American Pie", but his best song is Vincent.

Hey Gang, Time to hop in the Way-Back Machine.  We're heading back to1987.  "Three Men and a Baby" was the number one movie.  The Twins won the World Series.  Wallstreet Crashed. Gary Hart withdrew from the Presidential Race.  And this song was hit on the charts, even if you weren't on the second floor.
