Our Pet of the Week is a Fluffy Poodle

Our Pet of the Week is an 8 year old Poodle named Toby.  Toby is the "bestest" dog around.   He has all the “trains” down pat. You know house trained, leash trained, and car trained. 

Toby loves to be held.  If you like to cuddle with a warm, hairy animal, then Toby is the pet for you.   You can visit with Toby at the Temple Animal Shelter, 620 Mama Dog Circle. They have a play area so ya’ll can get to know each other.  Bring a friend so they can get a dog or a cat too.

We also asked Officer Hetzel about the rabid skunk he had to deal with a few weeks ago.  He reminded us to get our pets vaccinated. That is the main way humans can be protected from exposure. Listen to what he told us.
