Mom Gets a Booster Seat Instead of a Ticket
Sometimes Cops are the helpful police officers you learned about it when you were little.
Alexis DeLorenzo up in Michigan made a new friend when Emmett Township Public Safety Officer Ben Hall stopped her for not having her 5 year old daughter in a booster seat.
Alexis just knew she was going to get a ticket, after all she was wrong. Alexis told the officer she had fallen on hard times and could not afford to buy a booster seat.
Instead of giving her a ticket she wouldn't be able to pay, Officer Hall told her to meet him at a nearby Walmart.
That is where he spent 50 bucks on a new booster seat.
“It was the easiest 50 bucks I ever spent,” said Officer Hall. “I in no way, shape or form expect to be paid back. It is a ‘pay it forward’ situation completely.”
Alexis says that is exactly what she plans to do, as soon as she gets back on her feet, she will help somebody in need.
