Micro is the Pet of the Week

Officer Hetzel brought a 4 month old puppy named Micro to see us.  Micro is a Chihuahua mixed with a bigger dog. We are not sure what kind!

Officer Hetzel believes MIcro may grow to about the size of a Jack Russell Terrier.   Micro is neutered and leash trained.  He gets along very well with other dogs and he loves to be held.  He kind of likes it on Dave's Back!

Micro’s Thanksgiving wish is for a new family to take him home right now. You can stop by the Temple Animal Shelter and visit with Micro. They have a play yard outside and one inside too. The shelter is at 620 Mama Dog Circle, near the corner of Avenue H and 31st Street. Their number is 254 298 5732.

If you don’t live in Temple go by your local animal shelter and pick out a pet.

Now we have some pretty cold temperatures that have been hanging around way too long for November. Officer Hetzel reminds you that outside dogs must have a dog house, and they need plenty of bedding to keep them off the cold ground.
