The album from Men Without Hats, "Rhythm of Youth", went Gold on this day in 1983.  Of course it featured the hit "The Safety Dance".

Men Without Hats are from and Canada, and "The Safety Dance" has nothing to do with safe sex or nuclear protests.  Turns out it was made as a protest against bouncers stopping dancers from pogoing on the dance floor.  See if you can tell.
