K 101-7 is Always Looking to Better Serve Our Listeners – Tell Us What You’d Like to Hear on K 101-7

K 101-7 debuted March 18th as Central Texas' Greatest Hits, and we've been ecstatic with the overwhelmingly positive response you've shared with us.  As with anything, we're always trying to better our "product" and make K 101-7 a better radio station by taking your feedback and putting your words into action.

As Brand Manager for K 101-7 I've heard, "Oh, I love you guys... but you know what you should be playing... ____________".

I love hearing that because the fact that you're listening means we're doing our job right.  I also love it because it makes my job easier.  Most of the time when I hear someone suggest a song or artist to play I agree wholeheartedly.  The problem is those song suggestions aren't exactly like Post-It Notes stuck to the inside of my brain, waiting for the right time to search for that particular song & get it on-air.  As the phrase goes, "In one ear & out the other".

I don't forget because I don't want that song on-air, I forget because.... wait, what were we talking about?

Oh, yes.  Music.  K 101-7 will be expanding our music library, and you have the opportunity to have a say in what's played on-air.  Simply tell us on Facebook the music we're forgetting about.  You can also request a song for the K-Cafe or the K-Kruise & we'll make sure that particular song or artist gets consideration during the music expansion.  It's the 21st century, folks.  Radio continues to adapt in the digital age, and in addition to listening to K 101-7 online or on the Radio PUP app you can use technology to your advantage by telling us what to play.
