Felix is our Pet of the Week

Felix the Dog is our Pet of the Week. Officer Hetzel from the Temple Animal Shelter brought him by. The origin of Felix is a bit of a mystery. He is a 26 pound dachshund mix. Mixed with what, we do not know, but he is really cute. Felix kind of looks like that dog from "The Neverending Story, only brown.

Okay maybe not, but our Felix is very friendly, and he is ready for a family of his own.  you can stop by the animal shelter and visit with him or any of the other animals at the shelter, 620 Mama Dog Circle.  You can also call and tell the animal shelter folks what kind of pet you are looking for. You can also volunteer at the shelter and you can make a donation. Old towels and clay cat litter are always needed.

And don't forget to get your pet vaccinated against rabies.
