living in the Western U.S. The Eastern Puma once roamed the North in Southeastern Ontario, Southern Quebec, and New Brunswick, and South to South Carolina to Kentucky, and up to Illinois and Michigan.

If a creature is going to go extinct it make sense that a creature that lives in the area with the most humans would be the first to go. Now since we’ve killed it off, we need to keep the balance of Nature.

The Eastern Puma was an ambush predatory animal and would eat a diverse group of large mammals that included cattle, pigs, horses, giraffes, camels, deer, and hippopotamuses. I’ll be honest, that sounds like the Puma would go shopping at a Zoo. So if you live in the Eastern U.S., you need to kill the next Hippo you see. It would also eat rodents. So I guess a trip to KFC is in order. (Too soon?)
