The response to Linda's time in the ring with K-101.7 was so positive (three people read it instead of two) we had a programming pow wow and decided to bring The Ronstadt back. So here goes:

So there's a d.j. friend of mine, and apparently he's emblematic of many of young guys coming of age during the 70's. They not only dig Linda's music, they are deeply DEEPLY in love with her. Like head over heels cray cray. Like they hate all the political guys she dallied endlessly with during that decade. And also Don Henley.

I mean, eeew. Don Henley. What was she thinking?

So, in honor of those guys still holding blow torch intense love for Linda, we dedicate today's-

-K-101.7 Song Of The Day!

This comes from 1980, it peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot One Hundred and it served as a sharp break from Linda's countryish brand of adult contempo of the fading decade. Her chart success would falter into the decade, and she would experiment with albums of lush standards and full throated Mexican traditionals.  As one does.

P.S: Here is a list of her top ten HERE.
