Song of the Day

Many of our K-1017 listeners may know that last week I was on vacation. I had planned to go home to see my friends and family back in Louisiana, specifically Baton Rouge the town where I grew up.  What I expected to be short and pleasant stay turned out to be something else completely...

Alright, under appreciated band time here. Way more accessible and less 80's keyboardey than Rush, this Canadian band played with a great jois de vivre and technical skill but never lost sight of what the cheap seats wanted: Rock, baby. READ ON!

Some albums land like 540 megaton bombs, and their impact is so tremendous, it ripples across generations, and the songs never leave the radio, ever. Like anything by Guns And Roses or Taylor Swizzle. Here's one of those albums, and it's title tune. Read On!
