Ladies, never forget the number one Crime Stoppers shopping cart rule.  Don't leave your purse in the cart.  86 year old Julia Brecht forgot and somebody stole her purse.

It happened in Aurora, Colorado the other day.  The Great Grandmother was shopping in the local Target.   She put her purse in the shopping cart, and somebody took it. The thief got her money, credit cards, car keys and house keys too.

The police were called, two officers responded, Craig Hess and Robert Little.  They filled out a police report helped Mrs. Brecht cancel her credit cards. And then.......they took her grocery list and bought all the stuff on it, including a roast, bag of sugar and cake mix.

The officers then took Mrs, Brecht home, got her spare car keys and then went back to Target and brought her car home.  But wait there's more.

The officers then used their own money to buy new locks for the Brecht's front door.

The cops do have surveillance video of the guy who took her purse, and there is a $2,000 reward , so maybe somebody will tell on him.

Meanwhile Mrs Brecht sure is glad Craig Hess and Robert Little came to her rescue!
