Hey, remember when Madge really really wanted to be a movie star? This was her first one, a thing called Desperately Seeking Susan. Yeah, I never saw it, either. The film did, however, birth a top notch classic dance track, the kind that would make even the straightest dude raise his hands in the air while jigging around the nearest smoke filled dance floor at one in the morning. Critics called it her first great single and it was massive number one smash all over the world, topping many lists at the end of the eighties as one of the best of the decade. And, unlike Madonna's arms, it's aged really rather well.
