Memory Lane- When Special Effects Weren’t So… Special

I came across a video online this weekend that instantly jolted me back to the 1980s, when this video in question was seen as a miracle of innovation.  Nowadays?  It looks like something my 10-year old could put together for a class project.

The video I speak of is... Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer".  Think about how much we were awestruck with the amazing special effects in the video, and this is a video that took home every major award at MTV's Video Music Awards that year.
