On today's morning shop, we played the biggest hit ever released by Paul Young...but which Paul Young did the song?  You see, there have been several Paul Young's who have been recording artists.

There was the Paul Young who was the lead singer for Mike + the Mechanics...he passed away in 2007.

There there was JOHN Paul Young, who's only hit was "Love is in the Air" in 1977.

There another, much younger singer named Paul Young that I am not familiar with--

--and then there is THE Paul Young that we featured on the morning show.  He was born in England in 1956 and had a huge hit in 1985, "Everytime You Go Away", which was number one for four weeks.

In case you missed it, here it is--

We'd also like to welcome Ami Kachner as the new producer on the morning show.  You hear her on Friday's already, helping us update you on what is happening around Central Texas on the weekend.  She will now be part of the event planning process and will represent K1017 at various events.

Her first appearance was last weekend at the Holland Corn Fest, where, as an official "chicken catcher," she managed to catch more chickens than any other chicken catcher out there and brought in a nice first place trophy.  It has a gold ear of corn in it, but no chicken.  After all, it is the CORN fest and not the CHICKEN fest.

You'll have to listen to the morning show to find out why they had to have chicken catchers in the first place.

Congratulations, Ami!
