The hardest thing for a pop group to do is cross over a decade change and have continued success. And so it was with today's duo in question. The Captain And Tennille had a hot streak in the seventies, 8 consecutive top ten hits, a television show, occupying my neighbor's record collection next to eight tracks by Chicago and The Village People. Things slacked off, In 1979 they signed with cocaine fueled disco and Kiss label Casablanca, played this song for label boss L. Sniff McCokefiend (may not be his name), sent him over the moon and there you have it, A BIG HIT. Then the eighties came knocking and that was it.
