If a mirror breaks in the bathroom and there is no one peeing to hear it, does it make a sound? Hell yes it does.

I was taught, like most others, that if you break a mirror, you were bent over the chair for seven years. It always seemed like a pretty harsh punishment to me, but what did I know, I was just a kid. I figured if I was ugly enough to break a mirror, it wasn't like my life could get any worse for the next seven years. Plus it wasn't like I was going to be a super model after seven years.

Turns out one of the ancient myths about mirrors, you know from the people who thought the world was flat, and that if you ate your enemies you gained their power. The mirror had magical powers. Including the power to see into the future (just ask Nostradamus. He goes to shave in the morning and sees History. What a warped mirror). Anyway, breaking a mirror would terminate the mirror's power, and the person's soul, which would be your reflection, would be scattered with the mirror pieces.

Personally, I always thought it was doorway to an evil dimension, and breaking it would open said dimension to ours, making it possible for evil to rise.

Well this fabulous Monday morning at 7:45, evil escaped into the Men's bathroom at Townsquare Media. With not a soul within a 100 feet of the bathroom, the mirror fell off the wall and shattered. You might just say that the glue lost all adhesiveness because of all the humidity in the air, or you could say that a demon has escaped hell, either way, I'm sure you're right. Just be careful if you come in to pick up a prize this week. Ohhhh spooky!
