Wife Returns Home to Find Her Husband Has Torn the House Down

What woman doesn't like coming home to a nice surprise from her husband? The key word is nice!  When Diane Andryshak of Middletown, New York came home from work, she found that her husband had bulldozed the house and everything in it.

The 840 square foot home had three bedrooms and one bath.  The couple was renovating but apparently hubby, James Rhein, was frustrated with all the problems. Police say he rented an excavator and went to town.

Diane says all her stuff was in the house, now she has nothing and the two of them are homeless.  She admits joking with her husband about bulldozing the place, but it was a joke!  Diane is the one who actually owns the home so hubby James is in big trouble.  So far he has only been charged with criminal mischief and released on 500 dollars bail.

I wonder, will her insurance pay for all the damage?
