Show me the money!

If you're one of the people who didn't use the direct deposit method of receiving your tax returns, you may be waiting a while to get the paper stimulus check in the mail.

The breakdown is simple: the more you make, the longer you'll be waiting.

Ed Payne for Gray News writes that those who made $10,000 or less in 2019 will see their check quicker, as those checks have been mailed out on April 24. Those people who made $20,000 or less will see their check go out on May 1st. The payment schedule is based on what you made last year, and they'll be mailing them out in $10,000 dollar income increments each week. See the income and mailing schedule HERE.

Payne reports that the IRS has made it easy to track you're payment. Visit the 'Get My Payment" portal at IRS.gov to see the payment status of your check.

So, what do you plan to do with your check? Pay bills? Stock up on essentials? Save it? Let us know in the comments.

And don't forget that you've got three chances to win $1,000 with us every weekday this month. Just listen for the three cash codes throughout the day and enter them here for your shot at the cash and entry into the grand prize drawing for $10,000.
