Don’t call him Pool Man, you can now add “Prairie Dog Saver” to Rick Gruber’s resume.

The Phoenix, Ariz. man found the tiny animal, floating in a back yard pool, lifeless. Most people would have just fished the thing out of the water and thrown it in the trash.

Not Rick, he spent 30 minutes trying to resuscitate the prairie dog, performing chest compressions as best he could, hoping against hope that the thing’s heart would start breathing again, and yeah, Rick taped the whole thing.

“C’mon little guy. You can’t die,” you can hear Rick say, as he tries desperately to squeeze the life back into little PD (Prairie Dog)

And after 30 minutes The treatment worked and the prairie dog, spit out the water, rolled over…. panted for a while then went scampering off into the desert.
