Three shootings occurred in Waco in the early morning hours on Monday.

According to a Facebook post from the Waco Police Department, three shootings occurred, all within mere hours of each other in Waco on Monday morning.

Authorities responded to a call from a corner store on New Road and Bosque at around 12:30 AM, and found a man who had been the victim of a shooting that occurred at another location. The man drove to the corner store in an effort to find assistance. Currently investigators are working to find a suspect in this shooting.

The next shooting took place at at N. 34th St. and Brooke Circle at approximately 1:40 AM. Based on dispatch reports, Officers initially believed the scene to be a mere traffic accident. Once on scene, authorities found an unresponsive 23-year-old male, who had been driving a Hyundai sedan. Officials say that the man had been shot in the upper torso. The 23-year-old was transported to the hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his wounds.

The final shooting occurred around 6:15 AM, and authorities received two calls concerning the incident. The first call took police to the 1000 blk of N. 34th St, where there was a report of a discharged firearm. Just a few minutes later police responded to  N. 36th and Grim, where a man with a gunshot wound was located. The male was taken to the hospital and authorities are working to find a suspect.
