Volunteers Needed for Wreaths for Vets

Be a part of honoring the Veterans who have gone before us by helping prepare holiday wreaths for the headstones at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery.

The 2017 Wreath preparation will take place on November 18th from 10 am to 1 pm at the Killeen Special Events Center. Volunteers are welcome. Once the wreaths have been prepared they will be presented at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery the first Saturday after Thanksgiving (11/24).

In 2017, Central Texas Veterans Cemetery is expecting to need more than 5000 wreaths to honor all the veterans laid to rest there.
