Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team climbed one spot to #8 in the country in this week's Golf World/WGCA Division III Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The UMHB women totaled 261 points in this week's poll to move up from ninth in the last ranking. Methodist University retains the top spot this week with 20 first-place votes and 500 total points. The Cru is one of just two American Southwest Conference teams mentioned in the latest poll. U.T.-Tyler is ranked 13th with 198 total points.

The Cru women will return to action with a trip to Florida for the Golfweek Fall Preview on October 14-16. That tournament will be played at Baytowne Golf Club in Sandestin, Florida.
