KWTX reported that the UMHB Crusaders are in a familar situation, with a 2-0 mark on the season after two dominant wins.

The Cru beat Albright College in Pennsylvania by a score of 91-7, and the Sul Ross Lobos by a score of 68-7.

The Cru faced two teams that were winless, but the tide will change in their next test against the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are coming in with an unblemished record as well, and are a conference foe of the American Southwest Conference.

The two teams know each other very well and should be a tougher test for the Cru this weekend. UMHB Head Coach Pete Fredenburg said, "It's important for his team to continue to get better despite the very good early results; especially this week against a team that's off to a good start themselves."

Catch the Cru in action on the airwaves at KRock 101.7 for the pregame show at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, September 22nd, and kickoff at 6:00 p.m.. The Cru will be facing the Bulldogs at Bulldog Stadium in Seguin, Texas.
