The Wrong Company is Offering Free Beer to Area 51 Aliens
Here's the gist: Roberts called on millions of people to storm Area 51. The idea is to run straight at the top secret research base doing the "Naruto run", which will magically protect everyone from any bullets fired their way.
"We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry," the event description reads. "If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.."
The event has become the latest flash in the pan internet trend, sparking people's creativity and inspiring countless hilarious memes.
They're not the only company to have jumped on the bandwagon, but something they recently tweeted caught my eye.
Earlier this month, the company formally announced it wasn't sponsoring the event, but now they say they'll give a free beer to every alien who comes out of Area 51.
That's cute, but it's the silence from another beer company that has me concerned that we're forgetting our history and letting is slip away.
Miller Brewing Company, I'm looking at you.
Back in 1983, a man by the name of Charles Fleischer testified on film that he'd been visited by aliens, and that during this close encounter of the fifth kind they'd demanded his beer and sucked it up using their fingers.
"Rillem Reeb!," they'd shouted "Rillem Reeb!"
So what gives? Why is Miller maintaining radio silence on this one?
My theory is that they know too much and they're afraid to come forward.
However, the video evidence lives on thanks to the internet.
(Note: If I were an alien, I'd prefer a Shiner. To each their own, I guess.)
