While the rest of the world turns it's attention to Don Sterling and his racist comments, Paula Dean is launching a comeback tour.  67 year old Paula Deen will kick off a live 20-show tour, June 21, in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

But she cooks, how do you make a 90 minute live show out of that?  It will be more than just cooking, Paula says there will be lots of audience interaction. "We are going to play musical chairs and the dating game with the audience. That's the excitement of it all — my fans get to be part of the show,"

I am sure you remember Paula's fall from grace about a year ago.  Her  cooking show was canceled after we learned she used that infamous racial slur.  She lost sponsors right and left and tearfully apologized on the Today Show, and then released her own videos apologizing.

If you missed them all.  Paula apologized again in People magazine. "If anyone did not hear me, I want to apologize, I would never ever hurt anyone intentionally. Never!"

Paula also knows it will take time to earn the public's forgiveness. "I feel like 'embattled' or 'disgraced' will always follow my name. It's like that black football player who recently came out," she tells People, referring to NFL prospect Michael Sam. "He said, 'I just want to be known as a football player. I don't want to be known as a gay football player.' I know exactly what he's saying.

As for the tour, five locations have been announced thus far—all in Southern cities—including Deen's hometown of Savannah, Ga. as well as Atlanta, Nashville, Tenn., and San Antonio, Texas.  Tickets for the 90-minute live show, will go on sale May 1.

So what do you think? Is it time for a Paula Deen comeback?
