How's your "self isolation" going? Cabin fever starting to set in?

You're not alone. Definitely one of the things I'm missing is going out to eat. My wallet, not so much, but I'm personally missing walking into my favorite establishment and sitting down and ordering a drink followed by an appetizer and carefully selecting my main course. It's a process I really miss and can't wait to take advantage of again.

Restaurants all over the country have shut their doors to the public and are relying on curbside, take-out, and delivery. I personally am not a fan of delivery as I'm always one who wants to eat my meal while it's hot. But, lots of folks are helping keep restaurants chugging along with to-go orders.

So, what is everyone ordering? Well, Fox News reports that Uber Eats, which says orders have increased 30% since mid-March when self-isolation began, has come out with a list of the most popular takeout dishes.

Fries seems to be particularly popular, with some sort of fry popular in nine states. Pad Thai is also pretty popular. It's the top item in five states, including Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, and here in Texas. Click here for the entire list.

Fries? Really? I like my fries hot, so are they staying hot through the delivery process? I doubt it, but to each his own.

Are you taking advantage of delivery or curbside pick up? If so, what's your go-to?
