The Ladies Love George Michael for Father’s Day!

I guess I should have seen this coming-- women prefer "Father Figure" by George Michael to any other song  in our week-long morning show Father's Day song promotion.

We are asking you to call in on the morning show with you favorite song about dads, and we are getting some great requests:  Papa Don't Preach, by Madonna, "Cat's in the  Cradle, by Harry Chapin, even the Temptations "Papa was a Rolling Stone.

But hands down, its George Michael and "Father Figure" that is running away with the most requests.  So far, over 20 requests from women, and 0 from men!

Guys, what are we missing here?

Oh, and I did get a request for "Daddy was an Old Time Preacher Man" by Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner-- can't play that one either, along with Wayne Newton's "Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast." (It was his biggest hit, really.)
