The Beatles Banned by Radio – Big Q Hit – (Just Like) Starting Over

Hey Gang,

Big Q with a question...How many of you were around when John Lennon placed his "holy" foot in his mouth?  Do you remember that radio banned any broadcast of the Beatles songs?  Well, they did on this day in 1966.  It was there response to Mr. Lennon saying that Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. Twenty-four years later John, and wive Yoko, began recording their double album "Double Fantasy".  Radio had forgiven him by then and played the heck out of this hit single when it came out.
