Today’s performance by the 1st Cavalry Horse Detachment from Fort Hood is part of the Annual Farm Festival and Carnival for Veterans in Waco, kicking off the day’s festivities by the Temple-based Central Texas Veterans Health Care System.

At today's event at the Doris Miller Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive, patients will be able to play carnival games set up by Veterans’ organizations and volunteers. Agriculture students from Robinson, Crawford and China Springs will also be on site with their animals to interact with the patients. They’ll have pigs, horses, chickens, lambs, rabbits, heifers, steer and more.

We were on hand a year ago to see these guys live in action.

I think this is cool as all get out. If you haven't seen these guys perform, check out the video!
