If you are a Stevie Ray Vaughan fan, you need to make plans to pick up the new book about his life that is being released tomorrow (August 13th). "Texas Flood: The Inside Story of Stevie Ray Vaughan by Alan Paul and Andy Aledort " chronicles the music legend's life from his childhood in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas to his untimely death at the age of 35.

According to the Texas Observer, there is something for everyone in the book. If you are like me and love the behind the scene stories, you will not be disappointed. You’ll read accounts of how Stevie learned to play, how he created his songs, how he named his guitar, and what went into his fashion decisions.

If you love the technical side of music, the book will list every instrument, pick, pedal, and amp SRV used. The book is thirty bucks and 368 pages. I call that a bargain.
