Our hearts go out to the family of Pflugerville Police Sgt Kurk Anderson, and our prayers certainly go up for his daughter Camryn.

The Anderson's recently found out that their 9-year-old daughter is suffering from Aplastic anemia. The family has gone public with their search for a blood marrow donor for Camryn as precious time begins to pass by.

KVUE is reporting the doctors have told the family that Camryn must receive a bone marrow transplant to survive. Please join us in praying for this family and sharing this information about how others can find out if they can be a donor to help Camryn.

Be the match is a great place to start. These folks will actually send you a kit for a simple cheek swab test that will have you on the road to helping out Camryn or one of 12,000 people like Camryn who are waiting for a blood marrow donor in order to survive. She is also in need o O Positive blood donations. You can help the family in this way by visiting the central Texas blood center We Are Blood.

The family has also set up a Go Fund Me account for their travel and treatment expenses for Camryn over the next year.
