Hey Gang,

Movie trivia time.  Do you remember "Time Bandits"?  Do you remember what actor stared in it from "Star Wars"?

It was on this day in 1981 that "Time Bandits" was released.   It was a British fantasy film co-written, produced, and directed by Monty Python alum Terry Gilliam.  (In case you didn't know, Terry was the genius behind the animation sequences in "Monty Python and the Flying Circus", oh, and he was an American from Minnesota.)

The story centers around a young boy and 6 dwarfs who travel through time and meet some history's famous people, including Robin Hood and Napoleon.

Some of the stars from "Time Bandits" include Sean Connery, John Cleese, and R2-D2.  That's R2-D2 without the costume.  His name is Kenny Baker, and this movie was made between "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".  He was one of the 6 little people, and his character was called Fidgit.
