Teens Help a Homeless Couple Living in a Walmart Parking Lot

Facebook strikes once again! This time the recipients of a caring social media crowd are Gordon and Dee Head.  

The elderly couple drove to Florida from Texas about three weeks ago for a promised job.   But once they got there, they found the job offer was gone and they didn't have enough  money to find a place to live.   So the couple lived in their little car in a Walmart parking lot along with their three dogs.

Gordon asked God to send them some helping angels.  Soon teenager Brandi and her friends showed up.  They insisted on buying food for the family and the dogs. When Brandi found out how they ended up sleeping in a Walmart parking lot.  She shared the story on Facebook and she set up a YouCaring fundraising page.

350 strangers gave over $14,500.

Now to find foster care for the dogs until Gordon and Dee can find employment and a place to live.
