As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, more and more retailers are stepping over the back and forth between municipal and state governments over masks mandates and making them a requirement themselves.

Earlier this week, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club announced that masks would have to be worn in order to shop in their stores and now two more large retailers, Target and CVS Pharmacy, announced they would be following suit according our news partners at News 10.

Just like Wal-Mart and Sam's, CVS's mandate would go into effect on Monday July 20th according to CVS Chief Operating Officer Jon Roberts in a press release.

As for Target, their policy will take effect on August 1st and they went on to add that they will provide masks at entrances if anyone needs one.

Target and CVS joins, HEB, Starbucks, Best Buy, Kohl's and Kroger who all have put mandatory mask policies into effect at their stores.
