The competition on this season of NBC's "The Voice" is starting to heat up and Killeen's own Rose Short is clearly becoming the runaway star of the show as she advances once again to the next round of the singing competition.

Killeen's Rose Short continues her triumphant run on "The Voice" this week with another victory to advance to the next round.

After you watch her on The Voice Sept. 23, you can hear her perform live at Chief's Sports Grill in Killeen on Saturday, Sept. 28.

It wasn’t terribly surprising that FOX would say goodbye to American Idol after so many years, but word that NBC might look to revive it alongside The Voice came more unexpectedly. Now, FOX is reportedly bidding for the rights to bring American Idol back on its own, almost exactly as we remember it.

Months before we have the Emmys or the Golden Globes to worry about, the annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards streamed Monday night and released the full list of winners as chosen by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association. ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ expectedly dominated in its many nominations, while the race for Best Drama tied and some surprising new stars were honored.

Baylor student Holly Tucker auditioned on NBC's 'The Voice' on Monday night and blew away the judges with her rendition of Adele's "Make You Feel My Love."  The 20-year old got an immediate chair spin from Adam Levine and Usher.  Moments later, Shakira turned her chair and finally Blake Shelton turned for the singer.
