It's Shark Week on the Discovery Channel, and you TV watchers are making history!

The first night broke ratings records. “Shark of Darkness: Wrath of Submarine” drew a 2.43 rating in the adults 25-54 demo and averaged 3.825 million viewers at 9 p.m. At 8 p.m., “Air Jaws: Fin of Fury” delivered 3.298 million viewers, improving the timeslot 57% over last year’s offering. A latenight talk show, “Shark After Dark” also drew around 1.556 million viewers, notching a 1.03 rating.

It doesn't sound like much but compared to Shark Weeks past, it's pretty good.

In honor of Shark Week People Magazine decided to rate pop culture sharks.

"Bruce the Shark" from Jaws came in second.  Say What????  That don't seem right.

Number one was"Bruce the Shark' from Finding Nemo...Really????

(Are all sharks named Bruce?)

Shark Bites fruit snacks was number 8.

Also on this list at number 22 is the cat wearing a shark costume and riding on a Roomba

This one was posted on YouTube last year, and quickly got over 8 MILLION views.

This has got to be one of the most boring things I have ever seen since I got out of High School film watching classes.

What is wrong with you people????

You can see the whole list here.
