Sex “Superbug” – H041 – Feared to be More Infectious than Aids Discovered in Hawaii

Does anyone remember the term “Grid”?  It’s what HIV was called when it first appeared in the gay community.  There’s something new that's "popping up" that health officials are warning us, has the potential to be as deadly as the AIDS virus.

It’s being called H041, or the “sex superbug”.  It was first discovered in Japan in 2011.  It’s now spread to Hawaii, and has surfaced in Norway and California.  Hawaii News has reported that this “sex superbug” is a resistant strain of gonorrhea.

I know a lot of people have been wishing that Ronald Reagan was back in the Oval Office, but if another killer bug is sweeping the globe, it’s a good thing he’s not. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has asked Congress for 50 million dollars to find a new antibiotic to treat the disease, and with this “spend first ask questions later” administration, they just might get the money they need.  I make this “crack” because of how President Reagan ignored the cries for help because Grid was centered in the gay community.  For those of you who think this is another “gay” thing, I should tell you, that the first case of the “sex superbug” was identified in a young woman in Hawaii in May, 2011.  Don't forget your hats.
