Temple Parks' "Movies in the Park" series ends this Saturday, July 23rd at West Temple Park, 121 S. Montpark Road, with a showing of Disney/Pixar's The Good Dinosaur, sponsored by Sam’s Club of Temple.

The film is rated PG. Pre-movie activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with the movie starting at sunset. Movies in the Park is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, insect repellent, blankets and snacks. Concessions will be available for purchase. The movie will be projected on a 30 x 17 foot high definition screen featuring a sound system that rivals any indoor movie theater experience.

I love the whole outdoor/blanket experience myself. It's like a picnic and a movie at the same time. Brink the picnic basket with the fried chicken, iced tea and potato salad. And don't forget the family.
