If you haven't heard, now you know. Temple's defensive end Taquon Graham is headed to University of Texas. However, a relatively new writer for Burnt Orange Nation - a subset of SB Nation that focuses on Longhorns culture - wrote an article following the Championship Game that was taken as hyper-critical and unfair.

The very next day, Executive Editor Wescott Eberts published a formal apology to the city of Temple, the families of Temple and Taquon Graham for allowing the original piece to be published.

He has taken the article down since and promises to follow up with a more 'thorough, balanced look at Graham as a recruit and what he can bring to the Texas team.'

Here is a paragraph that sums up his apology on the Burnt Orange Nation website:

I want to take this opportunity to apologize to Graham, his family, and the Temple and Texas communities for an article that was intended as constructive criticism, but was ultimately unfair to Graham and lacked the context of the injuries he has played through this year and the small sample size against a talented opponent. It did not accurately represent the full body of work that has made Graham a consensus four-star prospect and an all-state selection, in addition to accumulating more than 25 career sacks.
