TxDot announced that Northbound I-35 just south of Troy will be shut down so contractors can pour concrete on the new Troy bridge.

In a media release, TxDOT representative Jodi Wheatley said the shutdown will begin at 12:01 a.m. Thursday (that's late tonight!) and should be back up by 6:00 a.m. Thursday.

If you do have to travel at that time, you'll be detoured onto the northbound frontage road at exit 306, FM 1237/Pendleton Rd, and re-enter I-35 just north of FM 935/Main St in Troy. Law enforcement officers will be stationed at FM 935/Main St to direct traffic back onto I-35.

Be sure to read all signs and obey the traffic control devices and law enforcement officers.
