Sometimes you see something so outrageously stupid that you almost have to applaud the sheer boldness of those involved. So kudos to 40-year-old Keiana Wilson and 18-year-old Dana Johnson of Michigan for causing us severe neck pain due to too much shaking of the head.

According to the Keego Harbor Police Department, the dynamic duo were caught wheeling a cart full of stolen electronics from a Target store that was hosting a Shop with a Cop charity event at the time.

The Detroit Free Press reports that the women loaded a cart with $1,900 worth of electronics, including expensive Apple products and a Nintendo console. They rolled the cart past the check-out lines and casually strolled out with the stolen goods before loss prevention officers escorted them back inside to interview them.

All of this happened while 10 officers were just a few feet away helping buy Christmas gifts for disadvantaged kids.

The cherry on top - Johnson reportedly complimented the police on their generosity a few minutes before she and Wilson were busted.

"On a side note, there must have been a special episode of "Dumb Criminal Minds" being filmed live as a person tried to shoplift a bunch of electronics right in front of about 10 cops," a status on the Keego Harbor PD Facebook page reads. "They didn't get far. DON'T TAKE WHAT IS NOT YOURS, it's a simple rule that everyone should abide by and the world would be a better place."

The audacity of complimenting police on helping those in need, then helping yourself to things you only think you need just makes this story extra special.

Both women were charged with felony retail fraud. Merry Christmas, ladies.
